President Trump has admitted he threatened to break up Nvidia, despite not knowing who Jensen Huang was and having never heard of the company before.

Nvidia recently became the first company to reach a $4 trillion market valuation, driven by its near-monopoly in AI chip technology.

President Donald Trump said he considered attempting to break up Nvidia Corp. to increase competition in artificial intelligence chips before finding out “it’s not easy in that business.”
