The Dallas Cowboys secured tight end Jake Ferguson for the foreseeable future, signing Dak Prescott’s security blanket to a four-year extension worth $52 million, with $30 million guaranteed, the team announced Sunday.

Ferguson’s contract made him the highest-paid tight end in Cowboys history and the seventh-highest in the league currently.
