Dallas Cowboys guard Rob Jones says he broke a bone in his neck during the first padded practice of training camp and is expected to miss two to three months.

Robert Jones, who played for East back in 2016, was signed by the Dallas Cowboys this offseason, but he broke a bone in his neck on Sunday.

The Cowboys have still not addressed getting Micah Parsons a new deal, but they have just extended tight end Jake Ferguson. The Cowboys awarded him a four-year, $52 million contract extension, which includes $30 million in guaranteed money. The former 2022 fourth-round pick is now the highest-paid tight end in franchise history.
