Risk of West Nile virus increasing early this Minnesota summer. Here’s what to know.
In the latest weekly update of mosquito activity, Mosquito Control’s entomology lab reported that Culex tarsalis mosquitoes — the species most responsible for human transmission of West Nile virus — are active in some of the highest numbers recorded this early.
