The New York Times reports that United had full stops at its hub locations in Newark, New Jersey; Chicago; Denver; Houston and San Francisco, citing the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The FAA's website also notes that the ground stop was still live in Denver and Newark at 10:28 p.m. ET and will be in effect until 11 p.m.

An undisclosed “technology issue” has grounded United Airlines flights across the U.S. United Airlines said in a statement Wednesday that flights on major routes were being held at their departure airports because of a technology issue.
