THE BRAINTREE AMERICAN BASEBALL TEAM IS HEADING TO THE LITTLE LEAGUE WORLD SERIES THIS WEEKEND. THEY’LL FACE MAINE, VERMONT AND NEW HAMPSHIRE IN THE NEW ENGLAND REGIONALS.

Braintree will play Maine at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The Little League World Series will run from Aug. 13 to Aug. 24, featuring 20 teams — 10 from the United States and 10 international teams.
