Blackstone told employees on Friday it will reopen its New York headquarters on August 4, a week after shuttering it in the wake of a shooting that killed four people including one of its executives.

A gunman opened fire inside the Manhattan skyscraper that is the headquarters of private-equity firm Blackstone and the NFL, killing four people, including a police officer, before fatally shooting himself on Monday evening, authorities said. Another person was in critical condition, and others suffered less serious injuries.

Wesley LePatner, Senior Managing Director of the investment management company Blackstone, has reportedly lost her life due to a fatal shooting on Monday.
