The former Philadelphia Phillies relief pitcher was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y., on Sunday.

Former Philadelphia Phillies and Chicago White Sox great Dick Allen was posthumously inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame on Sunday in Cooperstown.

On Sunday, July 27, 2025, he will be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2025. Allen’s election came in December 2024 via the Hall of Fame’s Classic Era Baseball Committee, a 16-member panel which voted on eight candidates including Allen, Luis Tiant, Dave Parker, Steve Garvey and Tommy John.
